Pars lose Shields ahead of semi
The former Rangers and Charlton defender, 32, was carried off during the 3-1 win over Ross County on Saturday and has no chance of making Sunday's Hampden clash against Falkirk.
Pars manager Jim McIntyre said: "Greg Shields is out for the season. He has damaged a tendon in his calf so he is definitely out."
Scott Muirhead (thigh) has also been ruled out of the Falkirk clash while on-loan Hearts striker Jamie Mole is rated 50-50 with a hamstring problem.
