Hughes wants 'A' game

Falkirk manager John Hughes is hoping the Bairns can build on their recent good form and secure a top-half finish this season.

A win this weekend against fourth-placed Dundee United will see the Bairns close the gap between the two sides to only two points.

Hughes told the club's official website: "The two teams are very close to each other in terms of ability. If we take our 'A' game up there we can pick up three points.

"For me it's all about us. No matter where you go, you have to stamp your style of play on the game. There are eight big games for us now and we just have to take it one game at a time and see where it takes us."

Falkirk will travel to Tannadice without Tim Krul, Brian Allison, Michael Higdon and Dean Holden while Arnau Riera is rated as extremely doubtful.
