Falkirk have allowed Australian goalkeeper Scott Higgins to leave the club after he lost his first-team spot.
The 30-year-old only joined the Bairns at the start of the season from Queensland Roar, but was dropped to the bench by manager John Hughes after a 3-2 reverse at Inverness Caley Thistle on October.
The last straw was the recent arrival of Manchester City youngster Kasper Schmeichel on loan at the club.
Higgins is expected to move to the Israeli first division to link up with Maccabi Herzliya.
Meanwhile, Falkirk have wrapped up the signing of former Newcastle United youngster Carl Finnigan.
