Falkirk have agreed a deal to sign former Crewe Alexandra striker Michael Higdon.
The 23-year-old has decided to head to the SPL to further his career, after finding his first-team opportunities limited at Gresty Road.
Bairns boss John Hughes told the club's official website: "I'm delighted we've acquired his services.
"We've tracked his progress over the last year and the lad has impressed us on the numerous occasions we've watched him.
"We've been missing a strong presence up front and Michael will give us that option now. His character is good as well, a confident and lively lad who I'm sure will settle quickly with us."
Higdon netted ten goals in 87 appearances during his four years with Alex.
