Falkirk striker Michael Higdon is closing in on a return to action after nearly three months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The 24-year-old former Crewe Alexandra frontman scored eight goals in 24 games up to January, before suffering knee ligament damage.
However, Higdon is now back in training and could even feature against Kilmarnock next weekend.
Bairns boss John Hughes told the Edinburgh Evening News: "Michael has joined back in with the boys training and took part in everything we did during the session.
"He's worked really hard to return from his injury and we're delighted he's now back training with the first team. We'll assess him during the week and see how he is.
"I think we've missed him, but I would say we miss all the players when they are injured."
