Hibs drop keeper Mallo interest

Hibernian manager John Hughes has been priced out of signing former Falkirk goalkeeper Dani Mallo. Hughes is on the lookout for a challenge to Yves Ma-Kalamby and Mallo is out of contract with the Bairns. "I'm looking for a goalkeeper to challenge Ma-Kalambay," said Hughes. "We need that competition for places. "I was speaking to Dani Mallo and I was interested in bringing him to Hibs. The money that he's getting offered over in Belgium, we can't match."
