Gow set for Gers battle

Falkirk forward Alan Gow is determined to be a big success with Rangers, having agreed a summer switch to Ibrox.

The 24-year-old secured a pre-contract agreement with the Gers in January and is content that he has made the right decision, despite facing strong competition for a starting spot.

He said: "It's a dream move for me. People have their opinion and they may think I am maybe going to be a squad player.

"It's down to me to get into the team and keep the jersey.

"I imagine Rangers will sign a few guys in the summer. I just need to make sure I look after myself and give my best. It's going to be tough for me at Ibrox, I know that.

"I need to consistently play well, but one thing is for sure, I can't work any harder than I do now though. I always give my very best."
