Finnigan eyes more goals

Falkirk striker Carl Finnigan is confident he can grab more goals next term after struggling this season following his transfer from Newcastle United.

The 20-year-old Jarrow-born forward has found the net only three times so far this season, but did grab the only goal of the game in the recent win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

He said: "I was hoping to come here and score more than I have so far, but I've got no doubt the goals will come.

"There will be more pressure next season, it will be harder to fight for places, but I want to get more goals.

"With the lads behind us, they are always going to create chances, so it's up to me to make sure I do take more.

"We want to finish seventh and if we win every game between now and the end of the season, there is no doubt we're going to finish seventh."
