Sibbald misses out again
Falkirk will need to put all thoughts of their William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final against Hibernian to the back of their minds when they face Raith, with midfielder Craig Sibbald again missing due to an ankle injury.
Saturday's Scottish Cup success over Hamilton could have come at a price as both Stephen Kingsley and Lyle Taylor need to pass fitness tests to face the Kirkcaldy men after sustaining knocks at the weekend.
Rovers have beaten the Bairns twice this season and technical director Alex Smith is determined that there will not be a third.
He said: "We need to get back down to earth quickly and beat Raith. They have had the better of us so far and it is time to put that to an end."
Raith have defender Dougie Hill back in their squad after more than six weeks out.
Hill has been missing due to a three-game league ban, a one-match Scottish Cup suspension, last Tuesday night's late postponement at Dumbarton and the cancellation of Saturday's meeting with Falkirk due to the Bairns' involvement in the Scottish Cup.
Ross Callaghan remains sidelined with a knee injury and David Smith has returned to Hearts at the end of his loan spell, with Stark's Park boss Grant Murray looking for a hat-trick of wins over their hosts.
Murray said: "We have played really well against Falkirk this season and managed to get two wins over them. A third is not beyond us, although I suspect that they will be on a massive high after their Cup success."
