Kenny Deuchar's strike for St Johnstone was the difference between the sides in an open match at the Falkirk Stadium.The Bairns took the lead after a poor opening spell when Marc Twaddle bundled home from Pedro Moutinho's free-kick. However, on the stroke of half-time, Saints won a penalty following a handball from Brian McLean, which Liam Craig duly converted.
