It's Bia-Bi for Botti

Falkirk meet Cowdenbeath for the second time this season and the Bairns will miss Botti Bia-Bi, who salvaged a draw in the last meeting through suspension.

Also out are Kieran Duffie (foot), Lewis Small (shoulder) and Thomas Grant (illness).

Technical director Alex Smith said: "We have performed well against Rangers and beaten Hibs in the league since drawing with Cowdenbeath so we are heading in the right direction.

"However, we know how dangerous Cowdenbeath can be and we need the same type of performance we put on in our last two games to get through."

Cowdenbeath have a major injury concern over striker Craig Sutherland, who was forced off during Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Alloa while Sammy Stewart (groin) will definitely miss out.

Manager Jimmy Nicholl has asked his side to show the same attacking intent that they displayed against Peter Houston's side on the opening day of the season.

Nicholl said: "That was our best performance so far and we could have earned more than a 2-2 draw. We need to put in a performance just like that to have any chance in this tie.

"We have slipped back and are losing soft goals but we can put it right."
