Same again for Bairns

Falkirk have named the same squad that played out a goalless draw with Raith Rovers last week when they host Alloa.

Kieran Duffie (foot), Liam Dick (ankle), Thomas Grant (illness) and Lewis Small (shoulder) all remain out.

The Bairns are looking to turn draws into win, with manager Peter Houston saying: "We are disappointed at being in eighth place in the table, however we have only lost two games this season.

"In the other games we have beaten Hibs and drawn four times. If we can turn one point into three starting against Alloa then we will start to climb the table towards the top half where we want to be."

Alloa will give Greig Spence up to kick-off to prove his fitness after a hamstring problem, with the Wasps also hoping that Jason Marr and Darryl Meggatt can return after knocks.

Missing for Barry Smith's side is the injured Iain Flannigan (back) and David Weatherson (ankle) with the Indodrill Stadium manager not being fooled by Falkirk's lowly position.

Smith said: "Falkirk have a good squad that is full of youth and experience and I am not taking any confidence from sitting alongside them in the table as we are the underdogs for this game.

"They will start clicking into gear soon but hopefully it will not be this weekend."
