Beck pegs back Accies
Falkirk's Mark Beck scored a late equaliser to cancel out Darian MacKinnon's opening goal for Hamilton to leave the Scottish Championship play-off semi-final delicately poised at 1-1 following the first leg.
The hosts had goalkeeper Michael McGovern to thank for keeping them in the game early on as he thwarted Jason Scotland and Ali Crawford when they were clear through on goal.
Scotland saw another chance go begging after eight minutes. The striker beat McGovern this time but his shot was cleared off the line by Johnny Flynn.
Falkirk finally settled and Mark Millar went close with a free-kick and then a volley as the midway-point of the first half approached. At the other end Millar cleared a Martin Canning header off the line.
Conor McGrandles crashed a header against the crossbar shortly before half-time and Hamilton keeper Kevin Cuthbert denied Rory Loy with a superb one-handed save early in the second half.
MacKinnon curled home the opener on the hour mark before McGovern tipped over Louis Longridge's shot.
Beck levelled things up 11 minutes from time when he tapped in Loy's cross.
