Millar time for Bairns

Mark Millar bagged a brace as Falkirk beat 10-man Hamilton 3-0 at Falkirk Stadium.

The hosts almost got off to the perfect start but for David Hutton, who produced a fantastic save to tip William Gibson's effort round a post in the first minute.

Jay Fulton was next to test Hutton minutes later but he was again equal to his close-range drive.

The visitors tested Hutton's opposite number just before the half-hour mark but Michael McGovern did well to push Daniel Redmond's effort away.

Hutton was given his marching orders in the 56th minute when he brought down David Weatherston inside the area.

Millar stepped up to convert the kick before adding a second from close range two minutes later.

Victory was wrapped up nine minutes from time when Farid El Alagui nodded in Kieran Duffie's cross.
