Defender McLean signs for Falkirk

Falkirk have signed Brian McLean on a two-year contract after the defender left Motherwell and given a trial to Linfield goalkeeper Alan Mannus. The 24-year-old McLean was out-of-contract with the Bairns' Scottish Premier League rivals. And he failed to agree a new deal before manager Mark McGhee left for Aberdeen last month.
