Craig loses appeal

Falkirk have failed with their appeal to have Liam Craig's red card from Saturday's 1-0 win at Hibernian overturned.

The 19-year-old, one of four players dismissed during the game, was warming up on the touchline when he became involved in a melee following a bad tackle by Scott Brown on Stephen O'Donnell.

Craig then had a verbal altercation with some Hibs supporters before being sent down the tunnel by referee Alan Freeland.

He will be suspended for the Bairns' SPL match against Celtic on Sunday.
