Bullen sets top-six sights

Veteran Falkirk defender Lee Bullen is confident that his side can set their sights on a top-six finish in the SPL this season.

A 1-0 home win over Motherwell moved the Bairns up to eighth place in the table, with Bullen expecting them to rise further in the near future.

He said: "It was a tremendous team effort. Our target is to take that one step further than last year and get into the top six.

"We are all of the belief we have a group of players capable of doing that and we'll be disappointed if we fall short this season.

"We've jumped a couple of places and now we can start looking up instead of behind us."
