Buddies swoop for Bairns striker

The 25-year-old striker, who started his career with Crewe Alexandra, signed for Falkirk in the summer of 2007. In his time at the Falkirk Stadium under John Hughes, Higdon made 59 starts for the Bairns with a further 13 appearances from the substitutes' bench. The burly forward scored the winning goal at Inverness on the last day of the season to ensure Falkirk escaped relegation from the SPL.
