Bairns suffer Scobbie setback

Falkirk defender Tom Scobbie is set to be sidelined for around six weeks due to a nagging pelvic injury.

The 21-year-old has endured similar problems for some time and needs complete rest to allow the injury to settle down.

Bairns boss Eddie May confirmed: "Tam Scobbie won't play for six weeks.

"It's something he has had over the last few years and he can't do anything about it.

"We'll look after Tam's welfare, I think that's important at a football club. Unfortunately for Tam he can't do anything for six weeks."
