Falkirk have snapped up Manchester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, the son of former Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel, is currently third or fourth choice with City and will gain valuable experience with the Bairns.
Schmeichel has yet to make his first-team bow for the Citizens, but has impressed during loan spells with Darlington and Bury.
Meanwhile, the Bairns have also confirmed that they have rejected a bid from Rangers for forward Alan Gow.
Falkirk are keen to hold on to the in-demand 24-year-old until at least next summer, despite interest from a number of clubs since the transfer window re-opened.
