Bairns snap up Flinders

Falkirk boss John Hughes has raided the loan market to sign goalkeeper Scott Flinders from Crystal Palace.

The 22-year-old will spend the rest of the calendar year with the Bairns, where he will challenge Robert Olejnik for a starting spot.

Flinders joined the Eagles in the summer of 2006 from Barnsley, but has made only 13 appearances for the south London club since his arrival.

During his time with Palace, Flinders has already been loaned out to Gillingham, Brighton, Yeovil Town and Blackpool.
