Falkirk have agreed an 18-month contract with
Arsenal youngster Patrick Cregg.
The 19-year-old Irishman has made just three substitute appearances for the Gunners and impressed Bairns boss John Hughes in a recent trial.
Hughes told The Scotsman: "We were fortunate to get Patrick up here about a month-and-a-half ago to get a good look at him in a bounce match.
"We were also down seeing him at Arsenal and I'm delighted to get him.
"The signing tells us what we're trying to do at the club, bringing in quality guys at a young age who have the hunger and desire to take us where we want to go."
