Bairns keen to keep Krul

Falkirk boss John Hughes is keen to extend goalkeeper Tim Krul's loan stay at the club.

The 19-year-old Newcastle United shot-stopper has made 15 first-team appearances for the Bairns since moving to Scotland in August.

Hughes said: "The problem is I dealt a lot with Lee Clark when he was at Newcastle and he's now moved on to Norwich.

"But we're trying to open up a new point of contact at the club to see if we can keep him."
