Bairns hopeful over Barr

Falkirk boss Eddie May is hopeful of being able to retain Scotland defender Darren Barr this summer.

The 24-year-old has been linked with moves away from the Bairns since the end of the last campaign, but May is hoping to keep Barr in his squad.

"We won't sell Darren unless we are offered absolutely crazy money," he said.

"It's not for us to put a figure on him - it's for someone else to put a figure on it.

"We are quite happy for Darren to see out his contract (next summer) and so is he."
