Falkirk have agreed a deal with former Aston Villa goalkeeper Robert Olejnik.
The 20-year-old was allowed to leave Villa Park after failing to make a first-team impact, having spent time on loan at Lincoln City towards the end of last season.
Bairns boss John Hughes told the club's official website: "Robert fits the bill for us, he is young, fit and hungry and is an imposing character between the posts.
"He is keen to get first-team football and showed a commitment to join the club."
The arrival of Olejnik casts into doubt the possible return of Kasper Schmeichel to Falkirk, with the young Dane currently back with parent club, Manchester City.
