Bairns boss to be patient

Falkirk boss John Hughes has vowed to be patient as he looks to bolster his squad for next season.

The Bairns chief has brought just goalkeeper Robert Olejnik and striker Michael Higdon to the club since the end of last season.

However, Hughes has revealed he is slowly closing in on some more summer transfer targets.

"Things are still ongoing but we must be patient and make sure that we get the right quality in. These things take time and a lot can happen at the last minute," he told the Falkirk Herald.

"Of course I would love to have everything tied up and a full squad ready for next season, but ask any manager and they will tell you it never works like that.

"Players are entitled to take time to consider their options over the summer before they come to a decision. You just need to be patient and keep looking."
