Arfield snubs Hibs speculation

Falkirk's Scott Arfield has admitted that he would be happy to stay with the Bairns, with Hibernian keen to land the talented midfielder.

The 20-year-old Scotland Under-21 international has been a major target for former Falkirk boss John Hughes, who is now in charge at Easter Road.

Arfield stated: "I don't know anything about it.

"There has been speculation in the papers recently, but so far nothing has come from it.

"I am honoured to be a Falkirk player and if that is for the next five years then so be it. I am happy to be there."
