Falkirk have handed a new five-year contract to Scotland Under-21s midfielder Scott Arfield.
The 19-year-old has been a virtual ever-present for the Bairns this season and has clearly impressed manager John Hughes with his consistent displays.
Hughes told the Falkirk Herald: "Scott's performed very well in the first team this season and done so at times with some style.
"All he wants to do is be the best he possibly can and, with his work-rate and enthusiasm, anything is possible. I'm delighted that he's committed his future to the club."
Arfield himself added: "It's great to have everything all sorted out with the contract.
"When I joined the club some years ago it was obviously my aspiration to play in the first team and to be doing so now is great."
