The midfielder was again the subject of speculation towards the end of January with clubs such as Southampton and Huddersfield reported to have made enquiries.[LNB]But the Scotland Under-21 international was unaware of any interest and was glad the window closing brought the conjecture to an end.[LNB]"It's more a relief than anything that it's shut," said Arfield, whose team host Kilmarnock tomorrow.[LNB]"If it's going to happen, its going to happen but I would rather not even talk about it until it did.[LNB]"I'm all right with it, it's my family who are always asking what's happening.[LNB]"My mum is up to high doe (worked up) every transfer window that comes about.[LNB]"I'm relieved it's finished and I'm still here, and I'm still delighted to be here.[LNB]"I wasn't really thinking about going anywhere anyway. The focus has been making sure Falkirk got off the bottom of the league.[LNB]"It's up to us to make sure we stay off the bottom."[LNB]Falkirk moved off the foot of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League last Tuesday with their first victory in Aberdeen for more than 50 years and can leapfrog Killie tomorrow.[LNB]The result came after Falkirk survived the transfer window without losing any players despite more speculation surrounding Jackie McNamara and Darren Barr, who signed a pre-contract deal with Hearts.[LNB]Arfield claimed there was no concrete bid for his services and is confident manager Eddie May, who helped bring Arfield through the club's academy, would discuss any future offers with him.[LNB]"I think the club would tell me if there was and I didn't hear anything," the 21-year-old said.[LNB]"Even if he wasn't the manager he would be one of the people that, if I did have an opportunity to move away, I would phone and ask for advice. It just so happens he's the manager.[LNB]"When Darren made his decision, I'm sure Darren talked to him."[LNB]Arfield described the visit of Killie as "massive" as Falkirk look to continue their rise up the table against their fellow strugglers, who ensured they stayed off the bottom last week with a shock win over Celtic.[LNB]"We've always believed we would get off the bottom sooner rather than later," Arfield said.[LNB]"It just so happened Kilmarnock had an unbelievable result on the same night but Hamilton are down there now and it's up to us to make sure they stay down there."[LNB]Meanwhile, manager Eddie May has urged his players to give the fans taking advantage of cut-price admission plenty to shout about.[LNB]"They are not just going to make a noise, we have to excite them," May said. "Hopefully we can put on a show worthy of winning a game."[LNB][LNB]
