Aafjes set for Bairns stay

Falkirk manager John Hughes is still on the lookout for several new players, with the start of the new SPL season only a week away.
Hughes is still running the rule over a number of trialists, although Dutchman Roel Buikema has left the Bairns to return to the Holland.
His compatriot, defender Gerard Aafjes, is still with the club as he bids to earn a contract for the coming campaign.
The 22-year-old seems set to link up with the Bairns, having left FC Volendam at the end of last season.
Hughes told the Falkirk Herald: "I'm still looking to bring in three or four players and we are all working very hard to do just that."
