Tisdale's praise for Panther
15 Jan 2009 - 13:10:33
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has spoke of his delight at the emergence of midfielder Manny Panther.
Panther arrived at St James Park in the summer from York City, with a reputation of being one of the top midfielders outside the Football League.
However, a poor start saw him loaned out to Rushden & Diamonds where he was sent off twice in a month-long stay.
Panther came back to the club and finally broke into the first-team after impressing in training and has started the last six games for the Grecians.
Tisdale has sung the praises of the 24-year-old, acknowledging him as the best player for his side in the defeat at Notts County at the weekend.
He told the Express & Echo: "Manny has certainly taken his chance of late and he has become a solid member of the team.
"If he puts in performances like he did at Notts County, then he will be a big asset for us."
