Tisdale refuses to panic

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has refused to get downbeat following his side's 1-0 loss at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night.

The Grecians dominated in large spells as they fell to a scrappy Darryl Duffy goal in the first half.

Exeter sit in 15th position in League One following their promotion last term and Tisdale was pleased with the effort his men showed despite the result.

He said: "You've got to have the wherewithal to put that all to one side and just admire the way we played. We matched them in everything, we just didn't win, but that's life.

"If we play like that so many times, we're going to come out winning more than we lose."
