Tisdale keeps feet on the ground

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale refused to get carried away with his side's 3-1 win over Yeovil in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Two goals from Jamie Cureton and Ryan Harley's free-kick meant that Andrew Welsh's strike was nothing more than a consolation for the Glovers, who had Sam Williams sent off.But with a League One fixture between the two sides coming up in a few weeks, Tisdale wants his side to remain grounded."We don't want to gloat too much as we are back here in a few weeks' time in the league," he said."Yeovil played half the game with 10 men and in that context teams often come unstuck when they play with an extra man but we played with purpose and we had drive about us."We had a good first 25 minutes in the second half but the Yeovil goal gave us a bit of a scare. However the players feel really good about themselves. They earned their money and our support was terrific."
