Tisdale backs Grecians squad

Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale is relishing a final-day clash with Rotherham United, as the Grecians chase automatic promotion to League One.

A win would ensure City finish in the top three, while anything less could see Bury pip Tisdale's side, who were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Morecambe last weekend.

Tisdale told the Express & Echo: "I thought it was a very good game of football against good opposition.

"It was a good point and we have got a good chance next week. There is a lot to play for.

"We are still in the enviable position of having only ourselves to rely on next week and we know we have to win the game.

"After this long, arduous season we are left with a must-win game and it is in our own hands. We know what we have got to do."
