Steve happy to take the Flack

Veteran striker Steve Flack is content with his contributions for Exeter City, despite failing to find the net since the end of August.

The 32-year-old is happy to leave the goalscoring responsibilities to partner Sean Devine, while he continues to lead the line with his physical presence.

He told the Express & Echo: "I don't feel under any pressure whatsoever because I am just happy to do a job for the team.

"If I get a goal all well and good, but if I can set some up for Sean that's even better for me.

"I realise people judge strikers on scoring goals, but being a target man, my most important task is to ensure that defenders don't get free headers.

"If I can keep doing that, keep the ball up there and continue to work hard, I can go home at night and sleep happy."
