Sercombe pens Grecians deal

Exeter City defender Liam Sercombe has signed a new contract at St James' Park.

Sercombe, 18, has made 16 appearances for the Grecians this season after being handed a first professional contract last summer.

"I'm delighted because Liam has been with us for a long time," said vice-chairman Julian Tagg.

"He joined as a 13-year-old, so he's come all the way through."

"To have him put pen to paper is hugely important for the continuity going forward."
