Panther back in City swing
12 Dec 2008 - 15:54:09
Exeter City midfielder Manny Panther is finally starting to enjoy life with the Grecians, having endured a tough start to his time with the Football League new boys.
The 24-year-old former York City man struggled to break into the City starting eleven in the early weeks of the campaign, before a loan spell with Rushden & Diamonds saw him red-carded twice.
However, since returning to St James' Park, Panther has secured the backing of boss Paul Tisdale.
He told the Express & Echo: "I don't think I have got a definite place in the team. There has been a little change in the system and I have waited for my chance.
"I think I have done not bad and hopefully I can keep that going. I feel part of things now.
"Before the start of the season everyone was buzzing, but I didn't feel part of it because I hadn't made a contribution.
"But now I feel part of things and it has made my whole experience a lot sweeter."
