Formed in 1904, The Grecians moved to St James’s Park in 1906, where they still play to this day. They have had a host of players playing for them, who have moved on to play at the highest level including Lee Sharpe, Cliff Bastin and Dick Pym, who all got caps for England.

They were also in the news in 2002-03 when Uri Geller became Honrary Co-Chairman. He went on to appoint Music King Michael Jackson and Star Wars Legend David Prowse as honorary Directors. Since this however the running of the club has been taken over by a supporters’ trust.

Their biggest game of recent times was against Manchester United in Dec 2004, and they caused a huge surprise by holding United to a 0-0 draw.
