Grecians cast eye over duo

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has taken two former Nottingham Forest players on trial following their release from the Championship high-flyers.

Joe Heath and James Reid have landed one week trial periods at the League One outfit as they look to kick-start their professional careers.

Full-back Heath spent a loan spell at Lincoln City earlier this season, while Reid made just one appearance for the City Ground outfit from the bench.

Speaking to the club's official website, director of football Steve Perryman said: "We are looking forward to seeing them in training this week.

"We will take a look at them this week, but it is important to remember that with trialists they are assessing the club as much as the club are assessing them."
