Fleetwood returns to Grecians

Exeter City completed the loan signings of Charlton Athletic striker Stuart Fleetwood and Spurs goalkeeper Oscar Jansson on transfer deadline day.

Twenty-three-year-old Fleetwood scored three goals in nine appearances for the Grecians last term and boss Paul Tisdale was desperate to bring the former Wales Under-21 international back to the club.

He told the Express & Echo: "It's been documented widely we have been trying to do the deal since the end of last May.

"But often these things go down to the last minute and that has happened in this case."

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Jansson joins for an initial month, with Paul Jones facing two months out of action due to a knee cartilage injury which requires surgery.
