Exeter City's director of football Steve Perryman has made it clear that manager Eamonn Dolan will be calling the shots at St James' Park when it comes to team matters.
The duo have been handed the task of guiding the Grecians through troubled times, with financial survival and a return to the Nationwide League the ultimate aims.
With that in mind, Perryman is adamant that former director of youth football Dolan is the man in charge.
The former Spurs legend told the Express & Echo: "Eamonn is the manager and he is the man who has to be in charge.
"He will be there every day. I can make phone calls for him to contacts in the game that, at the moment, I know better.
"That won't be the case for long, as Eamonn is well respected by a lot of people in the game.
"I don't know much about the players, only those who were here when I was here last time, and there aren't many of them left.
"Eamonn knows the players in the squad and he knows the players we may want to bring in."
