Derisory Seaborne bid rejected

Norwich City have failed with a bid for Exeter City's highly-rated defender Daniel Seaborne.

The offer for the 22-year-old was 'derisory', according to the Grecians' director of football Steve Perryman.

The former Tottenham defender told Exeter's official website: "We know at some point that Dan Seaborne is good enough to go higher in the game.

"We don't wish to stand in his way, but the time is not now and especially not for such a derisory amount."
