Catholic diocese bans holy wine

The Catholic Diocese of Plymouth has banned the use of shared communion wine in a bid to help limit the spread of swine flu among congregations.The Diocese will still offer consecrated bread to worshippers. Its decision comes a month after it advised its priests to only offer the consecrated bread - and for it to only be put directly into people's hands.
