Tisdale talks up chances

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale feels his side can mount a charge for the League One play-offs. The Grecians are up to seventh after Saturday's impressive 2-1 win at Carlisle and Tisdale believes promotion is a realistic aim this season. "I am certainly not going to talk as if we are not capable of it," he told This is Exeter. "We are a good side and we are getting better. If we can continue to improve in the second half of the season then who knows what can happen? It is a very open league and it is not as if we have to win every game to finish in the top six. "I just think we need to be consistent and see where it takes us. There will be lots of sides saying the same as me and believing they are contenders."
