Boss Paul Tisdale was proud of his Exeter players despite the disappointment of finishing just outside the League One play-off places. A 2-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday on the final day of the season saw City end the campaign with seven wins from their last eight matches. However, Tisdale`s side finished eighth in the table on goal difference with the same points as Leyton Orient and just one point shy of the play-offs. "It was a very good win and I'm very pleased with the way we played. We absorbed a fair bit of pressure in the first half," said Tisdale, who saw his side come from behind to win with second-half goals from Daniel Nardiello and Troy Archibald-Henville. "I'm disappointed not to finish seventh but we've done our very best and I'm very proud of what we've done. We've overcome a fair bit. Next year will be a different team because players will move on. "Troy (Archibald-Henville) has not scored before but he's been promising a lot in training. It was a terrific run and a fantastic goal and he's got a big smile on his face."
