Exeter manager Paul Tisdale felt his side deserved their 2-0 victory over Bournemouth after a battling display. Richard Logan and Jamie Cureton scored the goals as the Grecians dominated the Cherries to end their 10-match unbeaten run. He said: "It was a hard-fought win but I am very, very pleased with the win. "It was an energetic and battling performance, a simple performance, but a good one nonetheless. We played some good football off the back of it. "We came up against a team that wanted to win, wanted to attack, wanted to pass and wanted to force the game and that simplified our task and brought the best out in the players. "The energy of the side was just fantastic, the midfield trio were just fantastic with their energy. I hasten to add that it was the first time we have played on a firm pitch since December so there is no surprise that we had a lively game."
