Tis not too down

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale could not criticise his players despite seeing them going down 3-0 at Bournemouth. Michael Symes opened the scoring after just two minutes and Marc Pugh put the Cherries 2-0 up in the first half before Symes struck a penalty in the second half following a foul on Josh McQuoid. Tisdale said: "The scoreline does not look great from our point of view, but I'm not unhappy with the way we played. This was our third away game in eight days and the players looked tired towards the end. "Bournemouth looked an effective side and they played extremely well and once we were 2-0 down it was always going to be difficult to get back into the game. "But I thought we played with energy and confidence and 3-0 was a bit harsh. But there is no point in complaining, we just have to take it on the chin. I was surprised we did not score some goals. We had plenty of possession and chances and I thought we would get something. "This is a tough division and we have to put it behind us and move on, but I don't think they were three goals better than us."
