Tis great to get win

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale admitted his side were not at their best but was delighted to come away with all three points after the 2-0 home success over Oldham. Both goals came in the first-half with Scott Golbourne netting the first with a low drive and veteran striker Jamie Cureton grabbing number two when he slammed home a loose ball inside the penalty area. The victory was the Grecians' fifth in a row and lifts them to within two points of the play-offs. Tisdale said: "I am very pleased. It is the business end of the season and it's a win, so it can't be bad. We weren't perfect and we weren't at our best, but we did the necessary. Some of our bits and pieces were quite good. We had a good structure, so the longer the game went on the more comfortable I felt, so I am very pleased. "We have kept a clean sheet and scored two first-half goals so to all intents and purposes, I am very pleased. I am pleased with the structure and control we had and I suppose we were all singing from the same page. "We were relaxed when we had to be and we passed it when we needed to. We weren't perfect, but the players had a decent plan about them."
