New Exeter forward Daniel Nardiello is ready to put his injury problems behind him and start afresh. The former Manchester United youngster who signed on a free following his release from Blackpool has been plagued by back, hip, groin and hamstring injuries for the past two seasons which has limited his chances of regular football. However, after receiving specialist medical advice over the summer the 27-year-old, who did manage seven goals in 18 games while on loan at Hartlepool and Bury last campaign, now believes his injury ordeal is now over and is raring to go with the Grecians. Nardiello told the club's official website: "The last few years have been a nightmare. But the physios here and the training regime have already helped me and I feel like my injuries are are behind me. "I needed to get away from Blackpool and start afresh and prove myself, Exeter was the perfect place to come. I feel fresh and ready to go." He added: "There was a few other clubs interested but to be honest it was the manager (Paul Tisdale) that persuaded me to come here. He seems like a top bloke and I'm looking forward to playing for him."
