Man jailed sexually abusing girls

A 26-year-old London man has been jailed for sexually abusing two girls at a party in Devon.Dalton Hippolyte was arrested after a victim recognised him when his teacher wife showed his photo to a class during a discussion about Valentine's Day. [LNB]He was found guilty of four offences of sexual activity with two girls whom he did not reasonably believe to be over 16 and acquitted of a similar charge. [LNB]Hippolyte, of Hitcham Road, was jailed for four years at Exeter Crown Court. [LNB]The jury was told that in 2006 Hippolyte had befriended a woman in Devon who asked him to look after her teenage daughter. [LNB]The court heard the girl and her friends then organised a party where Hippolyte plied them with alcohol before repeatedly sexually abusing two of them. [LNB]On sentencing Hippolyte to four years in jail for the offences, Judge Graham Cottle also ordered that he be deported back to his native St Lucia when he is released from prison.
